Welcome to Auckland! Pick-up your car and enjoy a pleasant drive around the city.
Leave the city for the beautiful countryside. You can relax on a traditional farm stay and participate in a genuine kiwi farming experience if desired, or simply enjoy the view in peace and quiet. (Guests are advised to arrive at the farm before noon)

This morning, take on the mythical world of Middle Earth - Golden plains, towering mountains and enchanting valleys form the lands of Lothlorien, Hobbiton, Rivendell and more. Continue to Rotorua, the heart of the Maori Culture. Enjoy a tour of Te Puia. Visit the New Zealand national carving and weaving schools, which includes a visit to the award winning exhibition gallery before your Te Pô evening experience begins.
In Rotorua, visit bubbling orange hot pools, marvel at geysers erupting 30m into the air, and take a scenic flight to New Zealand’s only active marine volcano, White Island. Soak tired bodies in geothermal mud baths and natural hot springs.
Visit Lake Taupo, where swimmers can enjoy warm, geothermal water currents at some of the beaches. Just north, you’ll find New Zealand’s most visited attraction, the magnificent Huka Falls. The Maori rock carvings at Mine Bay make for a great boat trip or kayaking excursion.
Discover magical glowworms by boat in the world famous Waitomo Glowworm Caves. You may combine your experience with Ruakuri Cave - see glowworms up close and descend a spectacular spiral entrance. Get your blood pumping with The Legendary Black Water Rafting Co. and spend your night in the city of Hamilton, which boasts stunning gardens, plentiful shopping, popular nightlife and awardwinning restaurants.
Travel back to Auckland this morning; hiking trails and a dozen enchanting holiday islands await you. Rangitoto Island, just a 25 minute ferry ride from downtown Auckland, is the region’s most iconic volcano and a favourite day trip destination for visitors, hikers and bird watchers.
Return your car at the airport and check-in for your flight back home.
