Singapore – Adelaide River – Kakadu National Park - Jabiru (250km - 3hrs)

Upon arrival, pick up your car at the airport and proceed on to join the Jumping Crocodile Cruise on the Adelaide River to experience a close encounter with these prehistoric predators. Spend the afternoon basking in the natural beauty of Kakadu National Park. Featured on the World Heritage list, the park showcases Aboriginal rock art sites, walks to escarpment lookouts, majestic waterfalls and impressive visitor centres. Stop by Mamukala Wetlands to watch birds as they congregate to feed. After that Bowali Visitor Centre to learn about the wonders of the park (The Kakadu National Park entry fee is A$25 per adult and free for children).

Jabiru – Cooinda (55km - 1hrs)

Take a morning ride to Ubirr to witness first hand the fascinating manifestations of rock art, before visiting the Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre. In the afternoon, take a cruise at Yellow Water Billabong, Kakadu's most famous wetland, located at the end of Jim Jim Creek, a tributary of the South Alligator River. The river system, which is the largest in Kakadu, contains extensive wetlands that include river channels, floodplains and backwater swamps. Yellow Water Cruises is the best way to experience the wetlands of Kakadu and it will be an experience of a lifetime.

Coodina - Katherine (250km – 3hrs)

Today, continue southward to Katherine via Pine Creek. Gold was first discovered at Pine Creek in 1871. Marvel at the original buildings which were first built in the heady gold days. Pine Creek's attractions include a Railway Station that was built in 1888 and Miners' Park, which houses original mining machinery from olden times. Continue south down the Stuart Highway to the outback town of Katherine . Explore the spectacular Katherine Gorge by boat or on foot. Another popular attraction in the park is the Edith Falls (Leliyn), a wonderfully scenic swimming hole fringed by lush green foliage and framed by cascading waterfalls.

Katherine - Litchfield - Darwin (370km - 4hr50mins)

This morning, get back on the Stuart Highway and travel north to Litchfield National Park ; explore Litchfield National Park featuring rugged sandstone escarpments with waterfalls surrounded by lush monsoon rainforest. The crystal-clear swimming holes and pleasant bushwalking trails make this park a favourite with locals. Take a plunge in the waters of Buley Rockhole, Florence or Wangi Falls. At the end of the day, take an hour and a half drive back up the highway to Darwin.

The morning, start your tour at the Museum and Art Gallery of the NT or the Crocosaurus Cove, located right in the heart of Darwin's CBD. For a more adventurous alternative, you might like to visit the Territory Wildlife Park. Located about an hour outside Darwin, the park offers travellers a close-up encounter at an extensive aquarium with a walk through tunnel. Stand nose-to-nose with a 3.7 metre saltwater crocodile, marvel at a daily birds of prey display and trek through the nocturnal house. On Thursdays and Sundays, visit the Mindil Beach Sunset Markets (opened from 5 pm to 10 pm between May to October). Be spoilt for choice with over 200 quality art and craft stalls. Tantalise your tastebuds with more than 50 food stalls offering a range of dishes from all over the world, while being entertained by a wealth of street buskers.

 This morning proceed to the airport for your flight back home.
