Brisbane – Noosa (140km - 1hr45mins)

Upon arrival, pick-up your car at the airport, head down to Australia Zoo which was the home for Steve Irwin, the late “Crocodile Hunter”, Australia Zoo was first opened in 1973 by his parent. The park has grown over the years from a small collection, to over 1,000 animals on 140 acres and is recognized internationally. Daily demonstrations take on a whole new dimension when the keepers actually interact with the wildlife, from giant snakes to hungry crocodiles. Whether you would like to see the otters catching their own fish, or meet koalas up close and personal, plan on spending the entire day to experience all the full-on action and adventure! Continue to Noosa for sumptuous seafood platter for dinner by the river, what a prefect way to end your day!

This morning, travel to Eumundi Market for your breakfast or shop for some of the local produces. You’ll find original artworks, sculptures, furniture, handmade toys, homewares, and skincare, as well as cutting edge fashion and jewellery by local designers, all guided by our ethos of “we make it, bake it, grow it, sew it”. If you’re a foodie, you’ll especially love our market laksa, calamari, thai, paella, quality coffee, chocolate, great cakes, old fashioned lemonade, and more. We have a wealth of fresh produce – including fresh fruit and vegetables, freshly baked breads, locally made cheeses and yoghurts. And, when you need a break from the shopping, sit back and be entertained by a stellar line-up of performers guaranteed to get you in the groove. You may visit The Ginger Factory in the afternoon to learn how Ginger are grown and process into various type of products in a fun and interactive way. Travel back to Hasting street a relaxed, pedestrian-friendly, beachside thoroughfare that is a haven for visitors who flock to the cosmopolitan cafes, designer shops and alfresco dining.

Noosa – Fraser Island (200km - 3hrs)

Travel up to River Heads, Hervey Bay to check-in for your ferry to Fraser Island. The Fraser Island is a 125km long and over 160,000 hectares Island. It was formed during the ice age when the prevailing winds transported the vast quantities of sand from New South Wales and deposited it along the coast of Queensland forming the island as we know it today. In this fragile eco system the rainforest consists of huge satinay and brush box, kauri pines, piccabeen palms and the rare angiopteris fern which is one of the largest ferns in the world. All this growing in pure sand! World Heritage-listed Fraser Island is a rare and beautiful holiday destination, at the start of the Great Barrier Reef, offering a refreshing change from the bustle of mainland Australia and the resort islands of Queensland’s north. Spend a day at leisure to explorer the beautiful resort.

Fraser Island Adventure

On this beautiful day out, you’ll meet like-minded travellers, visit the top natural attractions and cool off in watering holes - and all in the air-conditioned comfort of our custom-designed, four-wheel-drive coaches. Fraser Island – Hervey Bay (50mins)/ Bundaberg (140km/2hrs20mins)

Today, travel back to Hervey Bay in the morning. Hervey Bay is known as the "Whale Watch Capital of the World". The humpback whale's don't just pass by, they enter the Bay and stay for a few days to rest and play. You may enjoy these magnificent creatures yourself onboard one of Hervey Bay Whale Watching vessels (June – October). Or have an option to change your accommodation to Bundaberg during Turtle Nestling/ Hatching seasons during November – March. Witnessing the nesting and hatching of a rare animal that may live for 200 years is a unique Queensland natural encounter you won’t forget. A large variety of turtles such as the loggerhead, green, leatherback and flatback nest from November to March each year along the Queensland coast. From Bundaberg in the south, to the Cape in the tropical north. Mother turtles come ashore to nest during November to January and from January to late March you’ll see tiny hatchlings take their first steps at Mon Repos, Australia’s most accessible sea turtle rookery.

Hervey Bay - Brisbane (290km/3hrs20mins)

Head down the city of Brisbane, known for its laidback lifestyle, picturesque city skyline and lush parks. A sunny & sophisticated capital on the winding Brisbane River, along with this city is serious cultural credentials and first-class wining, dining and dancing. Shop up a sub-tropical storm on Queen Street, then check out the city’s historic buildings. Dine out along South Bank’s sandy lagoon and explore its storehouse of cultural attractions. Pick out Brisbane’s landmarks on a leisurely river cruise or from Mt Cooot-tha Lookout. Listen to live music in Fortitude Valley.
