6D Liaoning - Jilin

Arrive at Dalian and soak in an ocean view while touring Bingjiang Road by coach. Next, enjoy Dalian’s coastal waterfront at North Bridge and Tiger Beach. Thereafter stroll along Russian Style Street and admire the European styled architecture.   

Take a coach to Panjin (~3hr) and visit Panjin Red Beach. In autumn, the seepweed that grows along its shores matures and turns crimson red – a breathtaking sight! Next, transfer to Dandong (~3.5hr coach ride).  

Visit Yalu River Park and catch a glimpse of North Korea from across. Ride on a river cruise and view the unfinished Broken Bridge, intended to link Dandong to Sinuiju, North Korea. Ride a coach to Tonghua (~3hr) and tour Tiger Mountain Great Wall, a restored section of the Great Wall built during the Ming Dynasty. Continue to One Step Stone Monument, which marks the narrowest distance between China and North Korea, separated by the Yalu River.          

Transfer to Antu (~4hr) where Changbai Mountain is located. This mountain range straddles across to North Korea; scenic sights include Heaven’s Lake (a glittering volcanic crater), Changbai Waterfall, Hot Springs (used by local hawkers to boil eggs) and Beauty Pine.

Ride a coach to Dunhua (~2hr), then take a bullet train to Dalian (~5.5hr). Upon arrival visit Xinghai Square – the world’s largest city square at approximately 1km2. Its central square is shaped like a star and boasts white marble pillars.
