Afterward, get a delightful taste of culture as you take a pitstop at Rumah Kim Choo and head down Joo Chiat Road. Marvel at the conserved terrace houses, the Church of the Holy Family and the Katong Antique House, gleaning a bit of “Old Singapore” as you walk down the lane. From Kuo Chuan Avenue, take either a leisurely walk or short bus ride to Koon Seng Road for a greater sight of preserved cultural buildings. Delving deeper into Peranakan culture, walk over to The Intan for an authentic Peranakan experience. Finally, end off your long adventure around the East Coast area with a delicious treat at the Kway Guan Huat Joo Chiat Original Popiah & Kueh Pie Tie place.
